About Gaby
Meet Nonna Gaby
Gaby is the founder and head chef of Nonna Gaby.
Originally from sunny Miami, she grew up in a family centered around home cooking and learned so much being in the kitchen alongside her grandmother. Gaby has a fairly simple food philosophy, which is to eat real food, and try to incorporate as many (natural) colors as possible.
She also has experience cooking health supportive foods from working on recipe development for two bestselling cookbooks focused on gut health. Her goal in working with her meal-prep clients is to make nourishing, home-cooked meals a regular occurrence and to be your stand in grandma (even though she is not quite there yet age-wise).
When she’s not cooking, you can find her dancing to reggaeton music, reading, or bopping around town. Gaby has a passion for sustainability and is always trying to find new ways to help save the planet. Gaby’s favorite food is rice and ice cream (not particularly together, but she’s open to the idea…).
Gaby lives in Brooklyn with her boyfriend and too many plants 🪴.
