DIY trail mix

Trail mix is something I love to snack on when we’re traveling, hiking, or on the go. I’ve made a habit of keeping some in my work bag because some days I don’t have a ton of time to eat between clients!

I love a salty/sweet combo, but I am picky about what I like in my trail mix so I make my own. This way I can customize it to what I am feeling in the moment and also fill it with all of my favorites.

If you’re like me and you’re picky about the nuts/seeds/dried fruits you like - I invite you to make your own trail mix!! But here is a an example of one of my favorite combos.

INGREDIENTS:
Macadamia nuts
Walnuts
Hu chocolate covered almonds
Purely Elizabeth granola
Pepitas
Dried cranberries
Hu gems

**Other things I would add if I had them:
Dried figs (halved)
Dried apricots (the flat kind)
Dried mango

DIRECTIONS:
Measure everything with your heart, mix together, store in an airtight container.

Enjoy on travel days, long school/work days, or anytime youre craving a sweet and salty snack!
